Notice how they effortlessly combine the new with old while at the same time throwing in that bold punch of color - such an inspiring company!
What can I say... the Swedish know how to decorate!

Beauty at Christmas...

Thanks to one of my favorite blogs Merchant Design, I was able to find a treasure trove of
beautiful images!  Below are beautiful pictures of the home of blogger Froken Knopp.
I love the white and gray which are the perfect "colorless" shades that are endlessly adaptable.
This home is the perfect example of a pure backdrop which allows the simple items to pop!

Happy Holidays everyone!!!

A Clever Little Home...

I love this charming little home in Sweden.  The owner has combined unique vintage flea finds with striking colors and textures.
The Swedish know how to think outside the box!

Chelsea Textiles

If you're a fan of Swedish antiques and don't want to pay the hefty price - you will love the company Chelsea Textiles.
This company has been known for their beautiful fabrics and textiles for over twenty years.  They have recently started creating their first collection of Gustavian furniture, and it's beautiful:

The Perfect Mix!

This home with its hints of Gustavian and Southern French design, is the perfect blend of the old and new.  I can't help but to love the clean and simple aesthetic throughout all the rooms... especially the kitchen!
When one thinks of Swedish style, we often think of white and blue-hued images of the Gustavian period.
All I can say is there is nothing I love more than someone having the confidence to mix the old with the new, while keeping a simple balance.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do:
