My Amazingly Talented Sister!

I have the most darling and talented sister, her name is Dallas!
The art this girl creates is incredible!  She is always surprising me with her interpretation on how she sees the world.
I can't seem to wrap my mind around how she is able to create what she creates!
It's so fun having such an incredible individual as a sister, she teaches me so much on how to think outside the box and to be more creative... she is the real deal!!
I have a tendency to be stagnant when it comes to color choices, I'm a very traditional neutral person when it comes to creating spaces.
I'm always asking her, "What do you think about this space?"
Her answer is, "IT NEEDS MORE COLOR!!"
My dream someday is to open a store together.  The Juxtaposition between both vision's of design would be so interesting!
You want some visual stimulation?  Check out her blog Painted Trees By Dallas!
Below is some of her art!

She's always exploring and is able to see beauty in the simplest things

... love ya Dal Dal!

Sorry for the fuzzy images, they don't do the art justice

C'est si bon!

This beautiful mas with its rough stone facade and soft hued shutters give off the perfect authentic charm of an old building that has survived the centuries!
I love to come across these perfect, blissful homes that captivate and inspire me on every level; just another reason why Provence is a favorite!

... loving the tile!!
Notice above how they placed it up the wall in the kitchen... dreamy!

... don't you just want to sit in that chair and soak up the sun?

The Perfect Mix!

This home with its hints of Gustavian and Southern French design, is the perfect blend of the old and new.  I can't help but to love the clean and simple aesthetic throughout all the rooms... especially the kitchen!
When one thinks of Swedish style, we often think of white and blue-hued images of the Gustavian period.
All I can say is there is nothing I love more than someone having the confidence to mix the old with the new, while keeping a simple balance.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do:

I came across this gorgeous Scandinavian blog today entitled Min Lilla Veranda.
Her taste is incredible!
I have always been a huge fan of Sweden's innate sense of style.
Marie's blog shows beautiful images of her darling home and things that inspire her.  Every detail is enchanting!  If you love pale distressed colours and light-suffused interiors mixed with the perfect find, you will love Marie's charming blog.  Below are some of my favorites... enjoy!
