This Is Home...

If any of you are looking for a beautiful book, you need to get the book This Is Home!!!

It teaches you of the art of simple living.  That all of our homes are a reflection of what is inside of us, and they should feel like us!!  Our homes are gifts - not only for ourselves, but to others and should be shared.  What would the world be like if we didn't share with others?  We all have something very special to offer, and each one of us is unique!!

Great Things Take Time...

Oh my goodness, it has been a year since I have posted.  I miss posting inspiring pictures of ideas/concepts that bring joy and peace to my soul, and hopefully to others.

I hope you all are having a wonderful January and your Holiday Season was wonderful!

I have been working on a few very fun projects this past year.  Homes that are truly felt, and not over thought.  I love my job as a designer, because I get to work and create with wonderful people.  They become my nearest and dearest.  

I learn everyday that we are all creators, and that we need to be creating from our hearts... tapping into our true heartfelt talents.  We then use these skills to lift and inspire those around us.  Our talents and skills should not define who we are, but are shared to help build a society of love and service.  Our true identities lie in the fact  that we are all children of a loving God!  And we are all equal!!!

That is our true POWER -- not judging anyone, but knowing that their choices and lifestyle is perfect for them!  The only form of healing is through unconditional love... not judgement. 

I love the quote by Stendahl:  'Beauty is nothing other than the promise of happiness'

I hope this year we will eliminate the non-essentials, to see others as equals -- to unconditionally love others exactly where they are, and not to judge!

Healing...

I have been so slow in posting the past few months.  The last few years, my focus has been on my autistic son who has brought so much joy into our home.  Focusing on the small and simple miracles he does each day -- has brought a new found form of gratitude into my heart, reminding me that life is a beautiful mess!  

To those of you out there experiencing raw, life challenges... remember to be grateful daily, and look to serve and love those around you!  That is true happiness, and it will give the power to pull you out of the dark lulls of life!
