Many of you know Brooke Giannetti with Gianetti home design!
Both Brooke and her husband Steve are drawing up their beautiful dream home out in the country!
I can't tell you how much fun I have had looking at images and sketches of this soon to be amazing home out in the country... my dream!
My husband and I have our home on the market for the same reasons! We are planning on moving to a charming little town called Midway; it's about fifteen minutes from Park City, Utah and has so many wonderful outdoor opportunities for our little family.
Brooke has posted several images of brilliant ideas, one of those ideas is using true authentic shutters inside the home:

These shutters add so much warmth and character while at the same time letting the perfect amount of light in when needed... what do you think?
Hope you are all enjoy your Spring Break!!
these are all so brilliant! the Mary Bairstow room, omg. i have been wanting to incorporate indoor shutters for years. love em. my husband built the rustic ones on our exterior, and this is truly embarrassing...i have repainted them no less than 4 times in 4 years, trying trying trying to get the perfect shade! this is no easy task considering our house is on the TALL SIDE. right now they're a putty shade because the perfect french blue eluded me. thx for the inspiration and good luck on moving to the country, mama!

Absolutely brilliant! I love the idea of shutters inside. You featured some lovely homes. Thanks for the inspiration! ~Delores
ReplyDeleteWe just adore using indoor shutters. We both have them in our homes and are always looking for another wonderful pair. Give a room such character.
ReplyDeleteI wish our windows allowed for shutters since these images are so stunning and add so much character.
ReplyDeleteI think you will love Midway! Maybe I'll even see you around!
ReplyDeleteI love indoor shutters, too. When we lived in Paris (in one of those typical pretty apartments) for a couple years--we had them and they were louvered so that in the summer you could shut out the hot sun but still get the air.
ReplyDeleteIt is a blog all about, one of the couple busy in getting information for various indoor shutters.
