I'm loving shimmering tones of metallic finishes coupled with glass.
When used in the right proportions and on the right surfaces, it can help create that perfect taste factor rather than tack.
I love how the Scandinavian's and the French use these elegant metallic tones to enhance glow. Juxtaposing weathered grays/whites with metallics, creates the perfect understated color story.
I understand what you mean. I have an addiction to collecting glass pieces and copper. To me nothing looks nicer than a shiny piece of copper sitting on the stovetop, or hanging on the wall.
