I find when I have moments when I'm down that when I change my paradigm and start listing in my mind all the things I'm grateful for, it changes everything!
... try it... it works every time!
Our trials and hardships are there to teach us compassion and to also make us strong!
I hope you all have a wonderful happy week!
Beautiful pictures.. so peacefull!
ReplyDeleteDear Des - I totally agree! It's a grey, rainy and chilly day in DC.....so easy to feel down today. But just thinking about all my family and friends makes me grateful and thankful.

That picture of the gal reading in a wheelbarrow is just
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL - especially since I am the kind of gal who
will read the back of the cereal box if there isn't anything
better!
Each picture on this post was amazing - thank you.

It always cheers me up to drive up to the mountains and hike in fall weather, its so hard not to be awe struck and thankful by the simple beauty of nature.
ReplyDeletegratitude is def the answer to so many of life's tough questions.
ReplyDeletei am worried about you counting your blessings in that wheelbarrow though, darlin. my anxiety is kicking in as i want to make sure you aren't tossed down a cliff.
