Everything I knit turns into a pot holder! I don't have the patience, I guess! We are collecting our pet's hair to be made into yarn for a scarf! How cool is that?!
Yes I do know how to knit, and I'm pleased that applications like this show an increasing appreciation of these skills, but a knitted lampshade is going to get grubby so quickly! It just isn't a sensible application( and now I sound like a crosspatch).

A few days ago, I thought I was being silly doing crochet to wrap my bowls, bottles, lampshade etc... Hey! and your post today says it's actually a cool thing to do.Thanks for your further inspiration...I love checking your blog every now and again. It's great:-)
