Flamant

I have been out of the country for the past two seeks sightseeing the French Riviera and Vienna, Austria!

My husband and I where strolling the streets of Vienna when we happened to come across one of my all-time-favorite Belgian inspired decor shops called Flamant.

If you like neutral stone putty-like paint colors or the juxtaposition of elegant yet slightly rustic - you will love this company!  I used all their paint colors in my last home and have loved them!  Below are some Flamant images and also paint samples:

I hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Earthy and Simple...

I can't get over these beautiful images of timeless simplicity!

... I love nothing more

Have a wonderful week!

Elements Of Reclaimed wood

We just sold our home and we are now in the process of building a French inspired home in Midway, Ut.

We are so excited to get out into the country and now we're trying to compile visuals that will help compliment a French country home.

I'm so excited to bring you along our journey as I show you detailed images of our upcoming project!

We just barely turned in our plans to the city and hopefully we'll get the go ahead in a couple of weeks!

This particular home is somewhat similar to my last home, but with more of a country feel.

Below are some images that inspire the perfect combinations of reclaimed wood:

Notice the reclaimed wood on the ceiling in that back room -

they went from elegant and refined to rustic and warm

I love this pantry... the Juxtaposition of the rustic ceiling with the shiny tile!

Here is a good idea - add a reclaimed piece of furniture instead!

Doesn't Belgian design reflect the perfect country influence?!

My favorite combinations are French, Belgian and Swedish/Gustavian influences!

Please share some of your ideas, I would love to hear from you!

The Perfect Belgian Kitchen

This kitchen was built by Joris Van Apers bvba.

This is the perfect eighteenth-century inspired kitchen; with all its original elements, proportions and aging techniques - this kitchen is truly one-of-a-kind!!

I can't get enough of the color palette that was used; I could sit in this room all day!

Sorry for the fuzzy-scanned pictures... these images don't do this kitchen justice!

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

The Perfect Team!

Nothing I love more than an amazing company who creates and offers perfection!

Bourgondisch Kruis is an amazing team who offers one of the most extensive collections of Burgundy slabs and natural stones; these can then be turned into floors, fireplaces, stairs and columns.   This particular company has its own carpentry workshop as well as their own design team.

Below are some pictures of Bourgondisch's projects!

Every picture illustrates functionality, class and timelessness.

I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do, and don't forget to check out their website!

Couldn't you just stare at these images all day?

The warmth of the woods, the reclaimed fireplace mantels, the lime-washed walls... I absolutely LOVE Belgian decor!!

I hope you're having a wonderful week!

Needing The Perfect Antique?

Lucca Antiques is such a beautiful store!  They have two locations, one in LA and the other in New York City.  Here you can find that perfect one-of-a-kind antique that will be an heirloom forever.  Below are some of my favorite images from their website.

I would die if I could design a home with these pieces!

I love how each piece is so soothing and timeless!

If you want more information on these items, check out their website!

I hope you're having a wonderful week!
