I'm a little embarrassed as to the quality of these photos, but I'm still trying to find my camera!! It's still sitting in its lonesome in one of my bins... dang! So bare with me - these images are a little rough around the edges, but here are few images of our new home:
Thank you so much for sharing your personal space. Your home is lovely. I enjoyed looking at the photos.

OMG Des I LOVE YOUR NEW HOME!!!! You had me at the front with all the stone but then you opened that door and I saw that antique lantern and knew I had to see more. You surely don't disappoint do you? I love your cupboard in your dining room. I'm going to have to go back and really look at everything again, your home is fabulous. And I've noticed how much your son has grown!

Desiree, this such a beautiful, warm, cozy, provence-like house, a HOME for your soul, I guess, the way you always wanted. I hope you and your loved ones are as charmed with this new house as I am, just by looking at the pictures. BTW, the photos have this natural quality, and I love the fact that are NOT professional. The interior deco reflects your aesthetic. It less "grande" than the one before but it has a much more family character and coziness. Charming, charming!
ReplyDeleteIs this a Jack Arnold house?? I feel like I'm looking at the one story version of the house we will be building on our blog.
ReplyDeleteYour home is very beautiful!!!! I enjoyed looking at the photos.

Stunningly beautiful. MD
ReplyDeleteMAGNIFIQUE!!!!!! merci de partager. MoMo
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the warmth and coziness of your new home. Your last home was gorgeous as well but, I get the feeling this home is more what you really wanted since it has such a European feel. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Your home has an old world, European/farmhouse feel to it. The lavender & boxwood will fill in nicely once they have time to grow. You must pinch yourself every morning when you wake up. Looking forward to more pics. Great job! ~Thuy (Twee) in So Cal.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a home! Simply gorgeous. I do hope you share your sources for all your beautiful furniture and findings. I'd love to know where you find such beautiful things.

There is a quality to your home that I think many of us strive for and that is the ability to make it all work without feeling "decorated". It feels like it has soul and stories to tell...absolutely fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWow what a dream! Just found you on Pinterest.....your home is so gorgeous & perfect! xoxo

Hello !
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely new house !

Desiree,
ReplyDeleteI bought the Country Home magazine at Lowe's and when I found the article on your house, I said to myself, this is the house that has been in my head for a while. I would love to know how much the wave coursing roof cost!! I have always liked a mix of rustic and refined. Convert of 18 years, I appreciate the subtle nod to LDS with the portrait in your living room, very cool. You are stylin Madam. I am 63 and enjoyed every texture and color , all of it, in your home. You rock!
