Warm Modern...

I'm obsessed with warm modern... beyond obsessed!!
I love the juxtaposition of old and new, clean and raw, linear and rough!
These concepts allow the perfect balance so one can wrap their mind around the environment they're in.

When a space it too modern, it has a tendency to be a little stiff and cold in my opinion.  When you add hints of the past -- bringing in that texture and history, it balances the space perfectly!

  1. Well said. I've never thougt about it that way, but it makes all sense to me.
I also like the mix between one and other. Only modern is to cold and impersonal
    Good week

  3. Nice pictures! Especially that last, the galley kitchen. On the first one, however, I'd be very wary of open treads over a food-prep area -- grit in the gravy.

  4. Agreed...I love modern as long as their are organic elements involved. All plastic and metal leave me cold!
