I've been rummaging through the internet to find inspiration for our new home.
Our next home is more whimsy and will have more of an unpretentious character. There is something I love about cheerful disorder - where family and friends can come over feeling relaxed and at home.

I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!
Very soothing and inviting. The colors, the artful disarray, the fabrics! I could live in this post!

i am totally feelin what you have in mind for the new place. rustic chic and understated and anything but fussy. i'm working on restyling a few rooms, and i actually think it's much tougher to keep it simple!!!

Beautiful images. Love them all. Especially the blue table.
ReplyDeleteI adore the room in the first photo', so relaxed and breezy! Having floors that don't mind a bit of mud from welly boots and big squishy chairs that invite you to stay a while with a good book and a large cup of tea, that's the style for me! Lovely post! ReplyDeleteWhy are you moving ... your current home is fabulous!!! We live in So Cal and were married CDM and live In Malibu now-still nothing more charming! Kelly
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! Especially the blue dining table.
ReplyDeleteYou really shouldn't just steal images without crediting them. For example, the nightstand made out of vintage suitcases and a mirror is the property of blogger cupcakesandcashmere.com ... I think it's only right to give her credit for the work and the photography.
