Once again the walls were painted with lime, applied with a brush to give is some texture. The floor is sandstone from France which goes perfect with the soft colour palette. The light fixtures are perfection, they add the perfect touch of detail to this room.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous checkerboard floors! It's such a wonderful way to add graphic punch but still be classic and elegant. And I love that bathroom with the sandstone floor and lime walls...you can really see the great texture that room has. I just finished painting a great curvy french style coffee table with milk paint and it has that wonderful chalky finish...it really gives any piece a sense of history and age.
